When rain and light collide, the colours created are magical. Awe inspiring even. We wonder, how does that come to be. A small piece of water can turn into that?
Imagine if the water wasn’t exposed to the light. Imagine if it simply dropped to the ground and that was it – we would miss it, we would miss out.
When we hide our hard parts, pretend we’re fine and cover our struggles we have the chance to miss out on some really magical experiences, conversations & connections. We have the chance to forget who we are.
We do not need to live this life alone, in the dark, with shame, anxiety or fear. In fact, our bravest move yet may be to shine a light in those achey places and see the beautiful colours created from them.
I know, it can take so much energy & grit to be vulnerable and open. It takes practice and potentially exposes us to further heartache but allowing light to pour into our hard might just create an awe-inspiring light show we never imagined possible. And I’m here for that.
