Periods, Bloody Important.

Updated: Mar 15, 2022

Did you know that our period provides really important insight into our overall health?

Our monthly cycle supports our body through releasing hormones that can reduce inflammation, help regulate immune function, promote insulin sensitivity, set up our body for long term health plus heaps more.

If you’re like me, you might not have learned a lot about your cycle when you were younger and you may have been embarrassed by it, I was the same. I really encourage you to learn more about your monthly cycle, there’s so much power in understanding and listening to our bodies.

A good place to start?

Simply tracking it along with how you’re feeling over the month to see what you notice can be really helpful.

Our period should arrive smoothly, regularly and symptom free – if you’re told that it’s okay to be missing your period (unless of course you’re breastfeeding) seek another opinion. Because periods are bloody important.
